It is with deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our dad, father-in-law and grandfather, Alex Perzan on September 29, 2019, with his family by his side, at the age of 81 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Nettie in 2018, brothers: John and Bill; sisters: Helen and Lena and parents Michael and Mary. He is survived by his daughters Shannon (Chris) Candace (Donny) grandchildren Tyler, Michelle & Erin. Dad was a hard worker making sure his family was always taken care of. He spent many years working in the industrial field and retired working in the commercial chemical field; both of which he had to do a lot of travelling for.
He was a well-respected business man. He was an avid musician who enjoyed playing his musical instruments, singing and when he wasn’t performing on stage or being on the dance floor, he could be caught tapping his foot to the beat of the music.
Together with mom, they built a family cottage where they enjoyed themselves and spent a lot of time together. With strong efforts they worked hard to build a better life.
Together, mom and dad loved travelling together whether it was road trips to California, Las Vegas or Mount Rushmore, just to name a few, they also loved travelling on cruise ships where they cherished every moment and saw the world.
The hardest year for our family was when mom passed away. He lost his companion and wife of 58 years. The next year and a half were very hard for him.
Dad deeply missed the love of his life and now they are together again.
The family would like to convey a special thanks to all of the doctors who took care of him. This includes the EMS workers, the doctors and nurses at Concordia Hospital and the Victoria General as well as the MICU unit at the HSC.
A celebration of life will be held at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street on October 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
Dad, Grandpa
We will miss and love you always!
