Daniel Benoit

November 7, 1951 – July 3, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, Danny Benoit, at the age of 67.

Danny was predeceased by his parents: Donat and Florida Benoit; His wife Annette Benoit as well as Donna Benoit, Ron Benoit and Gunnar Sanderson

Danny was born and raised in Winnipeg where he married 2 times and had 5 children: Dwayne ( Audra); Dora (Ron) Cindy; Curtis (Holly) and Trevor  He is also survived by his siblings:  Tina, Lucy, Norman and Ida. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Danny was a truck driver during his first marriage but changed careers shortly after the marriage ended. He then worked for the City of Winnipeg until he retired with 25+ years of service

Danny suffered a massive stroke, which made it necessary for him to stay at Riverview Health Centre for a period of time.  Danny died from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in the early hours of July 3, 2019.

Danny didn’t have many interests other than for providing for the people closest to him, which he tried his very best.

A tribute to Daniels life will be held at Korban Funeral Chapel on July 17, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., with a small luncheon to follow.
