James Wilding

It is with great sadness the family of James Wilding announces his passing on February 6th, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Georgina of 62 years and his two children Diane (Dwayne), Brian (Kelly), his granddaughter Jordan, his sister Marjory Mclean, his niece Lindi Smith and nephew David Mclean. Dad was born on February 14th, 1929 in Minnedosa Manitoba. He attended the University of Manitoba and business college before he pursued his career at John Wood where he would meet the love of his life Georgina. Dad was a loving husband, father and grandad who enriched the lives of everyone he met. We would like to thank all the staff and doctors who were involved in his medical care at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire to make a donation in James’ memory, they could do so to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Lung Association of Manitoba. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, February 10th at 2pm at The Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg MB. Dad’s interment will take place at a later date.
