Janice Coghill

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Janice Coghill, peacefully in her sleep.

She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her partner Dan Robson and family; stepdaughters-in-law Tara (Jason) and Fran; grandchildren Adam, Bri, Adrian, Chris, Kristin, Dylan and Brandon as well as great-grandchildren Joseph, Jaylen and Grayson, and numerous nieces and nephews – and sister Sandi (Jim) Anderson and family: Steve (Brittany), Carly (Edgar), Piper and Lauren (Casey).  She is predeceased by her parents Art & Joanne and her stepson John.

Janice was born and raised in East Kildonan.  She had a great love for bowling and represented her province 9 times at the MBAC Nationals, winning a number of medals.  She also had a love for golf and had golfed in Canada, United States and Mexico.  She especially loved her Tuesday night golf with Sandi, Chris and Vi and our annual Shilo golf trip with Jerry & Gisele.  Her favorite summer place was Buffalo Point Resort where she enjoyed golf and great times with her lake family – Sue (Walter) and Vicki (Jody). Jan worked at Champs Food Systems for over 29 years where she will be missed by her co-workers.

A Gathering of Friends will be held on Sunday December 16, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the reception hall at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted to either the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
