Joan Ellen Palmer

July 22, 1937 – October 2, 2019

Sadly, we announce the peaceful passing of Joan Ellen Palmer.

She was born on July 22, 1937, and passed away on October 2, 2019, surrounded by her family and longtime friend Cathy.

Joan was preceded by her husband Bill in 2013 and her sisters Lillian and Marg.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Kevin (Ellen), Darlene (John), Darren (Elda), Derrick (Pam), and Valerie.

She will be missed by her grandchildren, Vanessa, Josh, Alisha, Jennifer, Darrole, Kristopher, Danyelle, and Kameron as well as her great grandchildren Sunshine, Malakai, Kobe and Sophia.

Joan loved her family and friends very dearly.  She was always the voice of reason for all who knew her. Her physical presence in the world will be missed by her many friends, her sisters in law, nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank the City of Winnipeg Paramedics, First Responders and all the caregivers at St Boniface  Hospital and Riverview Health Centre.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 100 Adamar Road on November 2, 2019 at 1:00.
