At the age of 91 years, on Sept 7, 2017 Kay passed away peacefully at midday with family near.
She lived an active independent life, and maintained a keen interest in local and world events.
Kay was born, raised, and educated in Winnipeg, spending her entire working career with the City of Winnipeg.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Borys, and her siblings Tony, Joe, Bert, Jessie, Alex, and Alice.
Kay is survived by many nieces and nephews who have been blessed by her caring support, and clockwork generosity.
We thank the wonderful caring staff at Tuxedo Villa where Kay lived for the last year of her life.
Also, we thank the Grace Hospital Emergency staff for the excellent care she received in her final hours.
A Funeral service celebrating Kay’s life will be held at the Holy Ghost Church located at 40 Ada Street, on Sept. 15, at 10:00 AM.
A Prayer service will precede the funeral on Sept 14, at 7:00 PM at Korban Funeral Chapel located at 907 Main Street.
Kay was an active supporter of many charities and encourages others to follow.
