Nordette Duczminski Obituary

Nordette Duczminski

Born April 06, 1966

Passed away September 15, 2019

Nordette (Nordy) was predeceased by her husband Ron and son Jody, father Cecil Tipping and mother Theresa Tipping, her brothers Laurent and Leo Lamoureux and special cousin Henry Paul Turcotte.

Left to mourn are her daughter Jessica, grandchildren Abby and Natalie Schuerfeld and Jordyn Tipping (in B.C.), sisters in-law Penny (Klaus) and Lynne, sister Lorraine (Bob), brothers Roger (Carol) and Gerald (Elaine), half siblings and step children, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially her special friend Bob and his family.

In her journey through life she had many struggles which she worked through with God by her side!

She always welcomed people and made you feel at home. She loved to crochet blankets for all the new babies. She loved to sing Karaoke with family and friends.

Nordette sought after her Lord and came to follow Him! Even though she was not well she attended worship as often as she could at Holy Cross. She is safe in the Lord’s hands as one of His children!

Special thanks to Concordia, HSC, St. Boniface Hospital and Riverview staff for all their care.  Also, thank you to Transcona Funeral Home.

We will always remember your delicious perogies and cabbage buns, but you the most!

Pastor Harold will be officiating the service with Pat Hergesheimer as the organist. Service to be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church – 708 McCalman Ave., Winnipeg, on September 21, 2019 @2:00 pm. The family welcomes you to join them in the lower level of the church for a fellowship luncheon after the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nordette’s church, Holy Cross Lutheran Church – 708 McCalman Ave., Winnipeg MB R2L 1G7

Scattering of Nordette’s ashes as well as her husband Ron's and son Jody’s will take place along the Red River by the boat launch on the south/east side of the Louise bridge on September 21, 2019, time to be announced.
