Pamela Ann Tubman

January 3, 1972 – January 8, 2019

Pamela Ann Tubman passed peacefully on Jan 8, 2019, at the age of 47, after a long battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her son Ellx, partner Harold Schmidt, her dad Lorne and sisters Ramona, Tammy and Tanya. She was a fun-loving auntie to her niece Zariah, nephews Jared, Zander and Zayden as well as to her friend’s children who were just as special to her. She also leaves to mourn numerous friends and relatives.

She was hilarious to be around and could always make you laugh, even using humor to deal with her illness. Pam loved music, festivals, football, her flower garden and especially being at the cabin hanging out with her friends. The cabin was at Lake of the Woods and was her favorite place to be. During her illness, she would drive all way to Winnipeg for her treatments, and like a trooper, rush to get back to her favorite place. She was creative and artistic, this was apparent in her work as an interior painter and for the theatre, scenic painter and prop builder. She was full of energy and life. She would do anything for those she loved but also wasn’t afraid to tell you off. Always strong and brave, she was defiant until the end, going out to see family and friends as recently as her birthday on January 3rd. Your fight is over and we know you’re with mom now. We will love you forever, Rest in peace.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Cambridge Hotel, 1022 Pembina Hwy, on Saturday January 12 at 3:30 pm.
