Sophie Tkachuk Obituary
Peacefully on March 18, 2018 at 93 years of age, our mother passed away.
She will be remembered forever by her daughters Aster (Hans), Linda, Sophie (Steve), and Alberta; her sons William and Ernie; and grandchildren Cindy, John, Melanie, Crystal, Ron, and Clinton. She was predeceased by her parents Anne and Penteley; son Benny; husband Wasyl John; sisters Mary and Leana; and brothers Nick and Bill.
At Sophie’s request, a private service was held at Korban Funeral Chapel, 245 Railway Avenue in Vita, followed by interment at the Tkachuk Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sophie’s memory to a charity of your choice.
