Tinnie (Skolny) Trush

Peacefully on September 24, 2018 Tinnie Trush passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 92.

She was predeceased by her husband Meron of 44 years, her parents and her brothers. Left to cherish Tinnie’s memory are her children; Lawrence (Carole), Dorothy (Joe), Judy (Ed), her grandchildren; Warren, Jody, Jeremy, James, great grandchildren Lyndon, Madeleine, Nicholas, Daniel, Cody, Rayne, Thomas, and great great grandson Kase.

Tinnie was born in Kreuzburg Manitoba on April 1, 1926. She grew up in the RM of Springfield and lived in Transcona for the remainder of her life. The family wishes to thank Dr Grace and the staff for the excellent care and compassion Tinnie received at Park Manor Care Home for the past 10 years.

Funeral service will be held on Monday October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street , Winnipeg MB. Reception to follow after the service. Interment will take place at the Ukrainian National Cemetery, 65078 Lorne Hill Road, Springfield MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
