March 24, 1935 - June 11, 2021

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Mom and Baba, after a second brave battle with cancer.

Alexandra (Lasha), was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Katherine Dziurdziewicz, her sisters Olga and Sally, niece Patricia, and nephew Phillip.

She is survived by her son Christopher (Terry), grandchildren Brittany (Sebastian) and Taylor (Amanda), nephew Michael and niece Teresa.

Lasha worked and lived in the North End, a lifelong Zeller's employee. After retirement, she enjoyed crosswords and her daily coffee with Sally. She was especially fond of her grandchildren, always interested in their academic accomplishments, and proud to share them with everyone she met.

Brittany and Taylor are left with memories of laughter-filled Sunday Rummoli games, Baba's great sense of humour, and of course, her delicious cooking and baking. (Pickles too!)

Thank you to the Sisters of St.Benedict's for opening their home to Mom in her final years, and the residents who became her new friends.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of St.Boniface Hospital Ward 7A South and Misericordia Hospital TCU 5. Your professionalism, care, and compassion will never be forgotten.
