Alwyn Williams Obituary

It is with heavy hearts  that we announce the passing of Alwyn Frank Williams. Al, as he was known to many, was born July 8,1936 in South Africa.

He was the youngest child  and is predeceased by his parents Bessie (nee Brown) and George Williams;, his oldest brother Vincent, and sister Helen and Lucy.

He leaves to mourn his three sons, Chesney, Kevin and Jason; his brother, George R and several nieces and nephews.  He also leaves to mourn his only daughter Kimberly (mother Nellie, predeceased) that was the light of his life.

Alwyn worked for many years at CPR. He was a very gifted and talented man. Cooking was his passion, much like his singing and dancing.

On behalf of my cousin, she would like to say “Thank You” to the many staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for the wonderful care and compassion they gave over the years. He will be truly missed by so many. His outgoing personality was ever present during his stay. He resided at Fred Douglas Lodge until his passing on December 11, 2020.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
