Amos Lamoureux

It is with profound sadness that the family of Amos Lamoureux announce his passing on June 16, 2022, at the age of 62 years young, following a lengthy battle with cancer. 

Amos will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) Lamoureux of 33 wonderful years, his loving fur companion Kaos, his children Trevor Albert Lamoureux (Quin) Christopher Allen Dusome (Chantell) grandchildren Kyle Isabella Nicco and Indigo. His sister Wendy Lamoureux Logan, brothers Lorne Lamoureux (Linda) Darren (Joe) Lamoureux (Mary) as well as numerous nieces' nephews, cousins' family and friends. 

Amos is pre-deceased by his mother Helen McRae and father Louis Lamoureux. His brothers Jesse Welch, Peter Lamoureux, Jason Lamoureux, and James McRae. And recently his nephew Blake Lamoureux.

Amos was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba; on a windy Thursday afternoon. Amos enjoyed being outside in the rain and puddles giving him the nickname Duck. He enjoyed his life to the fullest, enjoying camping, travelling, walks on the beaches, renovating his home, and for sure he loved his Lucky Larry VLT. 

Amos fought a long hard battle with four different cancers until he was called home by the angels. 

Amos enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He made many friends along the way, who are near and dear to his heart, he leaves behind his best friend Dale Howell, who has been by his side through thick and thin. 

Amos now flies with the angels finally at peace and pain-free.
