Connor Jaworski Obituary

Peacefully, after a brief illness, on October 17, 2025, our beloved son, nephew and grandson passed away at the age of 19, he leaves to mourn his mother Theresa, uncle Gary Jaworski, and grandmother Delina Smith, great uncle Jerry Jaworski (Helen), great uncle Mike Lucko (Anne), great aunt Frances Cowan, as well as many cousins and family. He was predeceased by his grandparents Bohdan and Joyce Jaworski and Charlie Smith.

Connor was born on December 6, 2005. He decided to enter the world a little over 3 months early. He was 1 lb 14 oz and could fit in the palm of a Doctors hand. Connor was not supposed to live the first 24 hrs but he showed his fighting spirit right away. He fought so hard and finally came home after 3 months in NICU. Connor met the world with a great attitude, his huge smile and infectious joy lit up every room he entered. He had many challenges due to his early birth and a brain bleed at six weeks but he never lost his positive attitude.

The harder Connor worked the happier he was, his smart walker, stander, crawler and bike were his favorites but he loved swimming the most. He thrived at the Movement Center of Manitoba, a very special place created by Margy Nelson. Connor made many friends there who all had challenges just like him. The people that work there are truly angels on earth. Connor also loved school, he charmed all the girls and Educational Assistants alike, he loved being social and school gave him the perfect opportunity.

His other interests included trains especially the whistle, reading books, his favorite was anything Robert Munsch, and he loved any kind of music. He spent many hours with Grandpa listening to all types of music, with Mom it was usually 70’s rock. Once he became a teenager in addition to his smile he developed a side eye that let you know instantly he was displeased, and if he added the one lip Elvis sneer oh boy!

Theresa would like to express her appreciation to nurse Nikol at the Grace Hospital ICU, for her compassionate care for Connor during his last 2 days. Much love and endless gratitude to Tanya Duchominsky and Annie Readman who were with Connor and Mom for his last 2 days.

Connor’s gentle, social, and happy demeanor made him a perfect little guy who was loved deeply by many people.
