Ejovi Eghwerehe Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, niece and cousin, Ejovi (Jojo) Judith Eghwerehe, who passed away suddenly in Winnipeg on August 2nd, 2025, at the age of 22.

Ejovi was born in Lagos Nigeria on June 28, 2003. She was the eldest of three children to her parents, Samson and Ufuoma Eghwerehe. In her early years she attended Chrisland School (Nigeria) for her primary education, Louisville Girls High School (Nigeria) for her secondary education, North Peace Secondary School (BC, Canada) for her high school and University of Manitoba for her University Education.

Before her demise, she was working with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Winnipeg. She was very appreciative of the opportunities that were offered to her and grateful for all the friends she made and for the love from her family and friends.

Ejovi brought joy and laughter into the lives of all who knew her. Her love, kindness, generosity and warmth spirit left a lasting impression on her family, friends and community. Jojo was known for her kind heart, infectious smile and unwavering love and was always a pleasure to be with.

Life is often measured in years, but Jojo’s true measure was in the love she gave and the lives she impacted. Though we feel the weight of her loss, we also carry the warmth of her memories-the shared moments, the smiles, and the love. This cannot be taken from us.

Today we say goodbye, but most importantly we say thank you- for the gift of knowing her, for the ways she shaped our lives, and for the love that will never fade.

She will be deeply missed by her loving mother, father, sisters, cousins, friends and everyone who knew her.

Rest in peace Jojo, you may be gone from our sight but will forever remain in our hearts.
