Surviving her are her sister Lesia, her two children Marianna and Taras in Ukraine. She was the wife of Rev Nestor Baraniuk and mother of the only one son, Dr. Andrei Baranjouk. All her young life she wanted to become a teacher, but because of the soviet system her dream was not possible to come true due to her marriage to a young priest. Dobrodiyka Ganna was active in Rev. Nestor Baraniouk`s Parish in Ukrainian village Silets` Ben`kiv of Kamianka-Buz`k municipality.
She moved to Winnipeg, Canada in 1993 with her husband to join their son Dr. Andrei Baranjouk with assistance of Dr. Bronislav Gorsky and his wife Orysia. Here she started attending ESL School on the Wall street and working for a catering company until in April 1996 car accident where her husband Rev. Nestor Baraniouk had life threatening injuries but survived and was retired after. Dobrodiyka Ganna for the next 25 years of his life surrounded her husband with all her love and care. Mrs. Baraniouk was full of positive vital energy, she was Saturday teacher for Ridna School of Sts. Volodymyr and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral and secretary of Ukrainian Catholic Women's League of Canada for over 10 years.
In 1999 Babtsia Nusia was blessed with the birth of her only grandson/vnuchok Nestor Baranjouk whom she loved unconditionally for all her life. Dobrodiyka Ganna was invisible backbone, payroll and payable account manager for her son`s North End Dental Clinic since interception in 1998. Every day she was picking up her grandson Nestor from Immaculate Heart of St.Mary School. She taught him the Ukrainian language which Nestor uses in his everyday life. For all her life she was taking care of two Nestors: her dear husband and her loved grandson. Dobrodiyka Ganna was a very religious person. Her passion was prayers. Mrs. Baraniouk supported her husband through all his surgeries including open heart surgery. For the last three years of his life Father Nestor was bedridden and she was alone who took care of him.
