Harry Bruce Williams

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Bruce Williams, age 76, on Sept 8th, 2025, after a battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Elizabeth Williams, Father and Mother-in-law Harry and Margaret Sinclair. 1 brother Keith, 4 sisters Wilma, Irene, Marnie and Louise, 2 son-in-laws Clifford and Randy and 2 grandsons Terrence and Trevor.

He leaves behind his Loving wife, Ellen Dorothy, together for 55 years, married for 33. His 5 children, Karen (Duane), Cheryl, Harry Jr, Richard and Sheila (Chris), also a grandchild whom he raised like a daughter Chenoa. 6 other grandchildren Clifford Jr (Leona), Phillip (Brittany), Brandi, Brandon, Chris and Aaron. And 23 GreatGrandchildren Toby, Karis, CJ, Shiloh, Eric, Lenzyn, Randy, Sarah, Zoey, Kylie, Sapphira, Lavar, Levius, DJ, Tristan, Luca, Colson, AJ, Dean, Samantha, Camilla, Xander, Iverson and 1 baby on the way. Sisters Clara, Pauline, and Leona and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

We honour the life of Harry Bruce Williams, born in Scanterbury, Manitoba 1948 to a loving large family. He grew up alongside his cousins and best friend Kenny. He met the love of his life Dorothy in 1968, where they then moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba shortly after having their two eldest daughters, Karen and Cheryl. Then had 2 sons Harry Jr and Richard and their youngest Sheila. In the mid 90s they decided to take in their granddaughter Chenoa to raise as their own daughter.

He was very loving towards his family, making sure they were taken care of. He liked doing Handy work, fixing cars, blueberry picking and spending time with loved ones. Nothing could stop him from doing what he loves, not even after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer for the last 7 months of his life. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer on September 8, 2025 at the Health Sciences Center and passed away peacefully with his wife by his side. He is no longer suffering and in pain, He had a long wonderful life with his family, He was very loved and will be missed dearly.

Services will be at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Wake service on Sept 18th 2025, at 4:00-12:00. Funeral service on Sept 19th, 2025 at 1:00. Burial at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Back to Korbans for luncheon.
