Irene Luhowy Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Irene on January 14th, 2026 at St. Boniface Hospital.
Irene was born on August 3, 1955 in Winnipeg. She attended various schools throughout Manitoba. After university, she joined the Federal Public Service where she worked for several years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Fr. Wsewolod and Irene. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Luba and Sandra (Rob), nieces, Krystin and Stefanie (Jake) and numerous cousins and close friends.
Her greatest joy was her family. She cherished the time she spent with her nieces Krystin and Stefanie.
She will be remembered for her kind smile, positive attitude and generous spirit. She will forever remain in our hearts.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg, with Father Bohdan Lukie, CSsR officiating.
