Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffery (Jeff) Edward Stashko announce his peaceful passing at St. Boniface Hospital on February 15th, 2023, shortly after being diagnosed with Cancer.

Jeff was the son of John and Lillian (Wiwcharuk) Stashko, and is survived by his brother Ken Stashko and niece Breanna Stashko. He was born in Dauphin, MB and grew up in Fork River, MB. He grew up doing chores around the shop and delivering gas with his dad and gardening with his mom. With his love for numbers and math, he moved to Winnipeg to go to university and got his first job at Birch Findley and McFarlane as a CPA. He then moved on to work for Manitoba Public Insurance and then for the Province of Manitoba. He enjoyed reading, gardening, and going for a drink with his friends and playing the occasional $20. Anyone that knew Jeff would agree that he was a wonderful person. Kind, thoughtful, sharp with a touch of sarcasm, but most of all he was caring and always good company. He will be greatly missed by all.

Jeff was predeceased by both his parents, and aunt’s Joyce, Betty and Ann who he spent a lot of time with prior to their passing.
