It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Joyce Courchene on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 68 years of age.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children Shawna Courchene, Robin Courchene, Daniel Mackenzie and stepdaughter Crystal Mackenzie. Her grandchildren Andrew, Kaylie, Bryden, Dylan, William, Treymen, Hayden, Aurora, Rowan, Claire and Julia and her great-grandchildren Katarina and Tobias. Her siblings Diane, Brian, Tim, Ron, Myles, Darryl and Brenda, her cousins Marc and Mary Courchene with whom she was raised, sister In-law Jacqueline, and numerous extended family and friends.
Linda was predeceased by her Partner John Machenzie, Her parents Isabel Courchene, and James Fontaine, and her grandparents William Courchene, Florence Courchene (Sayer) and Martha Fontaine (Bun).
Services will be held at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St, Winnipeg Mb (204) 965-2193 January 07, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
Her body will be cremated as per her wishes and her ashes spread in Bissett with her partner John Mackenzie.
