MARIE JEANNETTE LOUISE THOMPSON (nee PLAMONDON) DECEMBER 7, 1942 – AUGUST 16, 2020 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our loving mother, Jeannette on Sunday, August 16, 2020 surrounded by her loving family and close friend Sheila.

Jeannette is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sons Michael (Maris), Sheldon (Maureen), grandsons Clayton and Coleman and her niece Carol and family.

Jeannette will also be missed by her many friends and fur babies.

Born December 7, 1942, Marie Jeannette, affectionately known as Jan or JT was an extremely kind, caring and compassionate mother and a very dear friend to all who knew her. Throughout her life she always put others first and her great sense of humor was inspirational in making people laugh and feel warm and comfortable in her presence.

One of mom’s (JT) most favorite passions was gardening and volunteering with the Spence Neighborhood Association and many other committees in her neighborhood.

Mom loved social activities and treasured her very special friendship with Sheila. Their time was filled with love and laughter. We would like to thank Sheila for her loyal friendship as well as her friend Carol.

Mom had a very special bond and relationship with Audrey who referred to her as Nana.

Nana, wherever I go in life I know you will always be beside me. You were a big part of my life teaching me so many things. You always said to me “I Love You to the Moon and Back”. Love and kisses, your loving granddaughter Audrey.

Special thank you to the Doctor’s and Nurse’s at HSC-SICU for their compassionate and wonderful care they showed our mother.

As per mom’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
