It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Millie on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the St. Boniface Hospital.


Millie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and parents, Michael and Jeannie Scibak, as well as her brother-in-law, Ross Davis. Millie is survived by her children, Darren, Sean, Bobby (Corilee), and Jenny (David). Millie also leaves to mourn her sister Pat Davis (Ross) and brothers Gary (Donna) and Wayne (Madeline), as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.


Millie was born May 6, 1945, in Woodlands, Manitoba, where she was raised until her family moved to Winnipeg. Millie worked at several jobs in her life, such as Swift Packers and LGM Graphics. Her love for gardening and flowers was her greatest hobby, as she spent many hours in her beautiful gardens and flower patches. Millie also loved the outdoors in her earlier years, fishing and camping with her family. She will be missed by many friends and loved ones as we say goodbye to her.


The family would also like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for all their wonderful care.


The funeral service will be held Monday, November 6, 2023, at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Winnipeg, at 11:30 a.m. for viewing and service at noon. Interment is to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
