Paul Musso Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Paul passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at the St. Pierre Medical Centre after a short bout with bone cancer. He is survived by his wife Laurette, his children Daniel (Michelle), Lise (Paul); his grandchildren, Mélanie (Lucan), Gina (Braden), Jean-Luc and his great-grandchildren Magnolia and Tucker.

He is predeceased by parents Henri and Orise, his brother, Marius and in-laws Armand, Claude (Lynne), Arthur and Jeannette Poirier.

Paul was raised in the city but attended Otterburne College, where he met his best friends who later introduced him to his wife of 54 years. He worked at MTS for his entire career and also made life-long friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Paul and Laurette moved to the Manoir in St. Pierre 6 years ago and he loved to entertain everyone by playing his guitar and singing songs. His favourite sport was now playing pool where he enjoyed winning against his many friends.

Paul was a man who loved his family deeply and would have done anything for them. He will be greatly missed and remembered by many. However if you listen carefully - you can probably hear Paul from the skies yelling at his beloved dog “JR... get back here!”.

We would like to thank the staff, especially the nurses at the St. Pierre Medical Centre as well as the Cancer Care Medical staff in Steinbach.

A family gathering will be held at the Otterburne Cemetery on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 11:00 am

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
