Paul Louis Joseph Philippot

September 14, 1960 ~ February 26, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul at 62 years of age with his family by his side.

Paul leaves behind the love of his life Madeleine (née Verrier); his daughter Réane (Cory) and his son Miguel (Lois); his mother Murielle; his brothers Denis (Lorraine), Charles (Maureen) and Patrick (Tracey); father-in-law and mother-in-law Adelard and Hélène Verrier; brothers- and sisters-in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins from close and far. Paul was looking forward to being a Pépère in August. Paul was predeceased by his father Hubert.

Paul was born and raised in Winnipeg. In 1979, he moved to Carlowrie to pursue his dream to farm. In 1983, his love story began when Madeleine joined him in the country on the farm. He enjoyed his time with his family fishing, camping, playing cards and having fondues. Paul’s passion was farming with his kids, showing them to make hay while the sun shines. In the last few years of his life, he found his talent to paint and cook. He showed great strength and courage. To Dad: you keep walking through those cows.

The family would like to thank Dr. David Peretz at HSC & the staff at the Steinbach Medical Clinic, The Bethesda Hospital and Palliative Care in Steinbach for all the care and support.

As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
