We are heartbroken to announce that our husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend Rudy passed away on December 13, 2021.

He was predeceased by his mother Cecilia, father Cornelio, brother Eduardo and sisters Aurea and Ledesma. He is survived by his wife Susana, children Cecille, Bradley and Rossane, nephew Edgar (Irene), step-mother Adelaida, siblings Lita (Ricardo), Ali, Zenaida, Mila (Eddie), Marietta, John (Rosario), Marites (Rudy), Manny, Valentino, Shirley, Dennis (Joanne) and Darwin (Shirley) as well as numerous extended family members.

We will miss his awesome Filipino/ Ilocano home cooking, his corny dad jokes, and his amazing singing voice.

Rudy’s family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the amazing staff at Health Sciences Centre WRS3 unit, Riverview Health Centre 3 East, and CancerCare Manitoba.

Lamay/viewing will be held Monday, December 20 at Korban Funeral Chapel - 907 Main Street from 6:00 – 9:00 pm (Prayer service from 6:00-7:00).  Attendees will require masks, proof of double vaccination, and photo ID. A private family service will be held on Tuesday, December 21 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish – 505 Brewster Street.  Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens – 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. at 12:30.
