It is with heavy hearts we announce Ron’s passing on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the age of 78 years, surrounded by his family.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his sister Geri Zolinski, nieces and nephews Nicole (Rob) Montgomery, Heather (Jeff) Rotinsky, and Rob Zolinski; and great-nieces and nephews Cooper and Kaylee Montgomery and Madison and Carter Rotinsky. Ron was predeceased by his parents Nick and Lena Shymkiw and sister Eleanor Shymkiw.
Ron was a devoted son, brother, and uncle and played a very special role in loving, caring, and supporting his family throughout his lifetime. Ron worked most of his life at and retired from Eatons in 1997 and was a lifetime member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.
The Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022, with interment at Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
