Susan Joyce Krasniuk

March 29th, 1960 ~ November 27th, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Joyce Krasniuk.  Susan passed in the early morning hours on November 27 2024 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Mb.

Mom was private when it came to her health along with being very stubborn. Diagnosed with cancer several years back, she fought hard, long and mostly in silence, not wanting to burden others with her problems.

Due to complications, she no longer had the strength to fight and with family by her side, it was okay for her to let go.

We want to thank both Garnet and David who were by her side and carried her secret for her. They took her to countless appointments, held her hand over the years, providing her the comfort and support she needed.

Susan was predeceased by her father Alex Krasniuk, mother Shirley Krasniuk (Shaver), and her son Wayne Melnychuk.

Left to carry on her memory are her sister Barb, brother Bobby, daughters Tara and Kristy, 6 grandsons, many nieces, nephews, great nieces,  nephews and friends.

A viewing was held in Vita, Mb on Nov 30, 2024. Mom wished to be cremated.

Whether you knew her as Susan/Sue/Susie, she will always be mom to me.

Sail on Silver Girl. Until we meet again. You are no longer in pain.
