After Aunty's battle with a very aggressive cancer, she passed away peacefully on March 12, 2020. She leaves to mourn her brother Syd McIntosh & his friend Diane Scott (Marsden, SK) her niece Tracy Kurtz and her two children Kailey & Kolby (Marsden, SK) and her nephew Ashley McIntosh and his two children Levi & Tyra (Marsden, SK), several cousins George & Glenda Hankins & families and Grant & Deb Jones and family all from Marsden SK. She also leaves to mourn several amazing friends within the City of Winnipeg and in the Marsden area.
Aunty chose Winnipeg as her home since 1997 and worked as a draftsperson at Barnes & Duncan up until 6 months before her passing.
Aunty was a women of many words, she had a very unique attitude. She was a lady whom you knew where you stood with her, she was very particular in everything she did and owned. She enjoyed her timmies coffee, Sports Central weekends, special time at the Legion, visits to Regent Casino in Winnipeg and of course took great pride in everything she owned from her small quant home in Winnipeg to her vehicle nicknamed the Great Escape
Special warm felt thank you to her special friends and long time neighbours George & Lisa, and a few other mentions of her amazing boss Greg & his wife of Winnipeg as well as special friends Linda, Darwin & Lana.
The family would like to thank everyone that had a special place in Susan’s life for everything you had done for her.
Thank to you the staff at St Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, doctors and staff at the Winnipeg Cancer Centre, Palliative Care and Home Care, EMS services, staff at Korban Funeral Chapel and crematorium and special thank to the staff at the BWI in Winnipeg during my stay in Winnipeg and to everyone that stopped by the house while I was there.
Special huge thank you to George & Lisa while I was there. I will be forever grateful to the both of you. Without the both of you this past week would have been impossible.
Aunty, you will be always and forever in my heart ... until we meet again ... love you forever [❤] ️
Susan will be brought back to Marsden to rest with her parents as per her wishes. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
