Todd Stewart Obituary

Todd S. Stewart (Parasiuk)

August 9, 1955 – September 20, 2022

After a lengthy battle with cancer, Todd passed away at his home on September 20, 2022 with his long-time loving partner and devoted caregiver, Suzanne by his side.

Todd is survived by his adoptive mother Eleanor Fuller, his adoptive siblings Cheri Bird (Lyle), and brother Don Stewart (Denise).  He is survived by his birth siblings, sisters Mary & Iris, brothers Bill Parasiuk (Gail), Sam Parasiuk (Pam) and nieces Heather, Karla, Kelly and nephew Erik.

He was predeceased by his dad Metody Parasiuk, his mother Pauline (Pruski) Iverson, his brother Jak Parasiuk, his adoptive dad Jack Stewart and sister Dale.

Todd will be welcomed with open arms by long-time friends Tony, Michael, Frank and brother Jak.

He had an interesting and challenging childhood but he was tough and determined.  He worked hard and had a long career at Toromont Cat where he retired after 17 years.    He was well respected by his peers/customers and made lifelong friends both at work and outside of work.

Todd had a great love of animals and the pets he had were well cared for.

Todd enjoyed playing the NFL spread with friends and always thought he had the winner!  CHA CHA CHA!!

He had a great laugh and a big infectious smile.  He was a modest, down-to-earth guy that you could always count on.  He was a man of integrity - honest and loyal.

He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, visiting friends and family out West, Casino Regina, Mahnomen, a football game in Minneapolis and our last trip to Mazatlan, Mexico.

Todd will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.  Raise a glass in his memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or Cancer Care Manitoba.

Condolences and memories can be shared at Korban Funeral Chapel.
