Walter Friend Obituary

Walter Friend Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Walter on October 5, 2022. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and dear friend to many.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Ridley; his children Debbie (Ernie) and Darryl (Cindy); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Mary; nieces and nephews.

Walter was predeceased by his parents Harry and Anne; brothers Mike and Bill; sister-in-laws Anne and Anne; and niece Rose.

Walter was born in Vita, Manitoba and raised in Caliento. He enjoyed taking drives in his Dodge truck listening to country music on his cassette tapes and going for coffee with the guys. His greatest joy was spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

Dad was always so generous with his time and always willing to lend a helping hand.

We will miss you and hearing all your stories about the good old days.

Forever in our hearts

Rest in Eternal Peace Dad
