Obituary
William (Bill) Skryba, age 95, of Caliento, Manitoba passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Vita Personal Care Home.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Elsie. Bill leaves to mourn: his son Ken, daughter-in-law Sandra, grandchildren Shaun and Kristyn; brothers Maurice and Ben and their families; Elsie’s siblings: Anne, Jean, Nellie, Jarvis, Steve, Peter, Alec and their families.
Heartfelt thanks to Steve and Iris for always being there for Dad. Born in Caliento, Manitoba, Bill was a proud Ukrainian farmer. Farming was his life. Bill loved driving his tractor and checking on his fields and cattle. He spent many years working for the forestry planting trees in the fall and spring. With a twinkle in his eye, Bill always had a story or joke to tell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 6 at 11:00 at Korban’s Funeral Chapel, 245 Railway Ave, Vita MB R0A 2K0. Following the service lunch will be at Vita Friendship Center, 226 Home St, Vita, MB R0A 2K0.
Private interment with family later in the day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
