William Yaremchuk

William passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at his residence in Sundown, Manitoba.

A family service will be held at the Ridgeland Cemetery and a gathering to follow at the Vita Friendship Center in Vita, MB.

In lieu of flowers, if so desire, donations may be made to the Ridgeland Cemetery. The Access Credit Union in Vita, MB has an account set up to receive donations.

William (Bill) Yaremchuk passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the age of 78 at his residence in Sundown Manitoba. William was born on May 14, 1944, in Sundown and grew up in Sundown with his parents Nick and Stella Yaremchuk and siblings Morris, Olga and Raymond (Bob).  Bill attended the Ridgeland School.  He married Linda Louise Edbom on October 2, 1965. They resided in Winnipeg raising their two sons, Terry and Tim while William ran his construction business and Linda pursued her career. Many weekends were enjoyed at the farm in Sundown – spending time with family, farming, gardening as well as getting together with friends and family.

Bill and Linda retired in 2004 and made a permanent move to their property in Sundown, Manitoba. In Sundown, William was able to enjoy hobby farming, gardening, and building whatever he wanted for their residence. Linda and Bill enjoyed a huge garden. They were so proud of their tomatoes, cucumbers, and garlic. They only downsized their garden in the past couple of years. Bill and Linda made many preserves from their bountiful garden sharing with family and friends.

William was predeceased by his wife, Linda: son, Terry; Father Nick; Mother Stella.

Left to remember William is his son Tim and wife Roseanne; grandchildren Jeremy and partner, Courtney; Dylan and Robyn; Terry’s daughter, Haley; Brothers Morris & Bob, and Sister Olga along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.
