Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Zofia Wozniak on September 15, 2022 at the age of 92.
She was predeceased by her husband Omelan (March 2020) of 54 years. Zofia was born in Poland on August 22, 1930, and came to Canada looking for a better life which she found when she married Omelan in 1966. Married at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, they both continued to be dedicated parishioners of the Cathedral until their passing.
Mom was a kind, loving, caring and hard-working woman who always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was an excellent seamstress, always willing to help others if they needed something hemmed or altered. Mom also loved to cook and bake. We will miss her perogies – they were always the best!
She was a very strong-willed woman who continued to live in her own home until her passing. Mom will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughter Anna/Todd Station, son Roman/Leane Wozniak and her grandchildren Victoria, Nicholas, Emilia and Ava.
An English rosary will be held at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 10:30 AM. A Ukrainian service will follow at 11:00 AM, with interment at All Saints Cemetery, 4515 Main Street, West St. Paul.
