Mary, Christina and family
Such a sad time for all of you! My heart goes out to you at this time of loss. When I saw Jaroslaw's Obituary in the G&M, I wanted to reach out to you through the years to say how much I treasured your friendship during our time in Winnipeg. May you find comfort within your family and friends. Remembering your many kindnesses to us. Heather M. Beecroft

Dear Larysa, Ihor, Martha, Christina (and of course your mom Mary):

I caught a glipse of a familiar jaw line in a photo as I flipped through this morning's Weekend Globe & Mail - and as soon as I read the last name underneath, I knew this must be either a father or uncle to Ihor. My very sincere condolences to all of you on this loss - you have a father (husband) to be so very proud of. Although our paths have only occasionally crossed in recent years, I consider all who attended SJR and their kin to be my extended family and you are no exception. This is a poor substitute for being there in person but I just wanted to extend these thoughts this morning with the hope that your individual and shared memories of his great gifts will overwhelm the heartache of losing him in the flesh.

Marcus Snowden, Toronto.

Our deepest condolences during this difficult time, Ihor, Martha, James, and Alexis. Our thoughts are with you - your father and grandfather was a remarkable man and will not be soon forgotten by any in the community. It was wonderful to see him enjoying himself at the Zabava last year!

I worked with Dr Barwinsky in ICS at St B from 87 to 96. Always a gentleman and a professional in his signature bow tie. It was wonderful to read his life story. My sympathies to his family for their great loss.

I was a GDRN. Just graduated from the ICU program. I had the honour working with him, and looking after his patients. He was always a kind person, a gentleman,
I remember he loved to sport a bow tie during his bedside visits. Prayers for you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have very fond memories of uncle Jerry, he was always so welcoming. He will live forever in the stories you continue to tell to the younger generations
