Annie Panchuk

Peacefully on Tuesday March 6, 2018 Annie Panchuk (nee Ziulkowski) passed away at her home at the age of 92.

Annie was predeceased by her husband John and daughter Shirley Wowczuk; her mother Helen and father John (Ziulkowski) of Vita Manitoba; brothers Joe of Vita and Frank of California; Sisters Pauline Kulczycki of Winnipeg, Mary Ziulkowski of Winnipeg, Nellie Charbonneau of Windsor, Ontario and Caroline Tomczak of Windsor Ontario. 

She is survived by her daughter Terry Klimchak (Dmetro); son-in-law Boris Wowczuk; grandson Stephen; sister-in-law Della Kupchuk of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Jenny Panchuck of Edmonton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Annie was born on May 16, 1925 in Vita, Manitoba.  She married the love of her life John on May 16, 1946.  She loved cooking and gardening.  Annie was a long-time member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church.  She was always kind and compassionate and gave a warm smile to everyone she met.  She loved being with her family, especially her only grandson Stephen.

Mom and Baba, thank you for all your love and support.  We love you forever!

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 13 at 10:00 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street with Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie’s memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Care Manitoba.

The family would like to extend a thank you to  the Home Care staff at WRHA.
