Bradley Allison Obituary

After a 2 year battle with lung/bone cancer, Brad passed away peacefully at Jocelyn House Hospice on October 7, 2018.  A funny, gregarious, intelligent spirit, he was a much respected leader in the Winnipeg music community. Brad was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. He was pre-deceased by his father, Milton Allison. He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Allison (neé Engbrecht) of Winnipeg, and his brother Thom Allison and Micah Barnes of Toronto.

The family wishes to acknowledge two angels on earth, Brad’s dear friends, Ann Green and Michelle Chouinard, who took care of Brad in his last 8 months, better than if they had been born family. We love you and can never thank you enough.

As per Brad’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In his memory, and if you are so inclined, we ask that you make a donation to Jocelyn House, where Brad received such beautiful, loving care in the last months of his life.  We should all be so generously held in our final days. Donations can be made at the Jocelyn House Hospice website:  www.jocelynhouse.ca
