Olga Soluk Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family shares the passing of Olga Soluk on December 23, 2018 at Holy Family Home. She was born on October 1, 1934 in Lonesand, Manitoba.

Olga was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Soluk; her father and mother, William and Mary Prociuk; and by her brother Paul in infancy. She leaves to mourn: her sister, Nettie McWilliams; three brothers, Peter, Walter (Sylvia), and Russell (Marianne); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Fr. Alan Wizinsky at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29th at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 35 Marcie Street, followed by a luncheon and interment in Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Thalberg, Manitoba.

The family would like to thank Dr. Connelly for caring for Olga, and Holy Family Home and the staff at St. Paul’s Unit, 2B South, Second Floor.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Olga’s memory may be made to Holy Family Home, care of Lubov SSMI Foundation, 1085 Main St., Winnipeg MB, R2W 3S1.

Rest in peace, and God bless you.
