Carl Rewniak
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Carl Rewniak on October 29, 2020. Carl leaves to mourn his wife Sylvia of 57 years; children Marianne (Alex) Brian, Anthony (Phillis), William (Mariann); grandchildren Brent (Rahel), Preston (Asley), Anthony, Nickolose. He is also survived by three brothers, three sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Nick and Anne, four brothers and two sisters.
Carl was a devoted husband and loving father. He was hardworking and dedicated; working at Denray Tire until he retired. He loved to fish, play golf, go camping and hunting. He was a big fan of wrestling and hockey. He was his grandchildren’s #1 fan.
During retirement Carl and Sylvia went to Memphis and Nashville with their nephew Garry and Diane. They had a wonderful time on their trip. Carl was a big fan of Elvis with a huge collection. Carl was full of life and was always trying to make you laugh. He was the life of the party.
Carl celebrated his 80th birthday by Ukrainian dancing with his wife in the kitchen.
Carl had a devotion on helping with projects around the house and was never afraid to get his hands dirty. He would call his wife “Poopsi” and when she said what - he would say quiet. That was one of his things he said to everyone.
….. Until we meet again
Those special memories of you
will always bring a smile.
If only I could have you back
for just a little while.
Then we could sit and talk again,
just like we used to do.
You always meant so very much,
And always will do too.
The fact that you’re no longer here,
will always cause me pain
But you’re forever in my heart,
until we meet again.
You are gone but will never be forgotten.
