John Meush

It is wish heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend John Meush on Thursday August 29, 2019 at Seven Oaks Hospital.  John was born in Saskatchewan on October 30, 1934; the eldest son of Stephen and Stephanie.  He was predeceased by both parents as well as brothers Julian and Anatol, stepfather Bill and great nephew Adam.  He leaves to mourn brother Ron (Maggie); brother Don (Bonnie) and sister Marie (Rob); sister-in-law Lillian.  He also leaves nieces Cathy, Lorelei (Andy), Michelle (Scott), Stephanie (Rich), Mary (Paul), Julia and nephews Jared, Bob (Rollie), Steve (Marianne) as well as great nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to longtime friends Wayne and Carol.

John started his working career at an early age with CPR and after several years there went on to Canada Post as a mail carrier until his retirement.  John will always be remembered as an avid reader and collector of many books and music cd's. He also enjoyed photography and making model planes. He was a kind and gentle soul who was generous to a fault and donated to numerous charities over the years.  John loved children and pets (especially Snickers and Schneider) and was known fondly as Uncle John to many.

There will be a memorial service held at 1:00pm, Thursday September 5, 2019 at the Korban Funeral Chapel 907 Main St. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations to Children's Hospital Foundation of Winnipeg would be greatly appreciated.
